DEMO INDUCTION COIL

Clients demo induction coils, to cater to their varied needs. It is manufactured with the use of heavy gauze enameled copper wire. This copper wire has a resistance of approximately 0.5 ohms. The primary gauze is wound on 100 x 30 mm length. Whereas the secondary coil of fine enameled copper of 100 ohms on 120 x 82 mm. Both coils are fitted with 4 mm sockets, made of iron ore of 160 x 15 mm.

This assembling of coils aids the induction process. With proper resistance they function optimally when used for induction.

DYNAMO DEMO

This model uses the same basic assembly as the motor No. PH 1238, but is mounted on a base plate 23 x 90 mm approx. which also carries a hand-drive pulley 120 mm diameter coupled to the smaller dynamo pulley by rubber belt to give a step-tp ratio. Electrical output is via pair of 4mm sockets and a light emitting diode is provided as simple output indicator. The model may also be used as a motor on 6-8 V D.C. supply.

INDUCTION COIL

The traditional induction coil capable of producing a spark with an input of 6 to 12 V DC and therefore ideal for use with vacuum tubes, eudiometers, etc. A fully adjustable vibrator system is incorporated and spark suppression capacitors are housed in the base. A pair of pointer electrodes are supplied with the instrument, the pointer electrode having an insulating handle for adjustment of the spark gap. Low voltage input is via a pair of baseboard mounted 4mm Sockets. They are available in spark of 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 50mm and 75mm.
