The apparatus comprises of four glass tubes of different shapes and cross sectional area, projecting vertically from a common horizontal tube. These tubes are further mounted on polished wooden base, to add to its durability.

HOFFMAN VOLTAMETER

Its used for the electrolysis of ammonia or hydrochloric acid with carbon electrodes. The electrodes available separately are mounted in rubber stopper for insertion into the open ends of the voltammeter limbs.
